Our delicious Cornish vodka has won the prestigious Platinum Medal in the San Francisco World Spirits Competition – the first British vodka ever to have achieved such success! (A platinum medal is only ever awarded to spirits that have received a Double Gold for three consecutive years).

Crafted in small batches from our delicious Cornish potatoes, this vodka is distilled forty-times before being blended with mineral water lifted from the distillery's aquifer.

Driven by a desire to make the perfect vodka for espresso martini, Colwith Farm Distillery's Head Distiller was inspired to infuse Organic Bourbon Vanilla pods with our award winning potato vodka.

The results are simply stunning. Paired with your favourite espresso, the marriage between sweet and creamy potato vodka and bitter, freshly made espresso is something to revere and cherish.

Inspired by our abundant Cornish countryside, our Cornish Elderflower Vodka celebrates one of the season's most cherished flavours.

The story began when Jo from our visitor centre spent time collecting elderflower locally, transforming it into a beautifully fragrant homemade cordial. Inspired by its delicate floral character and nostalgic taste of summer, we set out to capture those flavours in a spirit worthy of our Plough to Bottle heritage.

Crafted using our luxurious potato vodka as a base, this elegant expression combines the soft sweetness of elderflower with the silky smooth texture for which Aval Dor spirits have become known. Fresh, floral and beautifully balanced, it's a vodka designed for long afternoons in the sunshine and celebrations with friends.

Tasting Notes – Delicate elderflower blossom greets the nose, accompanied by subtle notes of honey, hedgerow flowers and fresh citrus. On the palate, floral sweetness is balanced by bright freshness and the signature creamy mouthfeel of our potato vodka. The finish is clean, elegant and lingering, evoking the taste of an English summer in full bloom.

Perfect Serve – Best enjoyed as an Elderflower Spritz, topped with sparkling wine and soda water, garnished with fresh elderflower blossom. Equally delicious served simply over ice with soda water and a twist of lemon.

Food Pairing – This versatile spirit pairs beautifully with light summer dishes, fresh berries, stone fruits, soft cheeses and seasonal desserts. Its delicate floral character also makes it the perfect accompaniment to garden gatherings, afternoon celebrations and long summer evenings.

Cornish seaberries harvested just two miles from the distillery in Lostwithiel are gently infused into our sweet and creamy potato vodka to produce this exotic flavoured tipple.

With a burning desire to craft the world’s finest spirits, we couldn’t resist laying down our revered potato vodka in first fill American oak rye barrels.

Our Barrel Aged Vodka has been enriched with sweet, creamy vanilla undertones, a hint of spice and subtle charred oak. Never filtered, coloured or sweetened, it is perfect served neat on ice, or with a splash of ginger ale.

Inspired by the roast potato, we’ve created a savoury vodka that marries the flavours of freshly picked Cornish rosemary, grown at The Eden Project, with fresh bay from our kitchen garden, and the warmth of black pepper. These carefully selected botanicals are distilled into our luxurious, buttery potato vodka in our handmade copper pot stills.

Tasting Note – On the nose, piney, resinous rosemary jumps out of the glass, supported by the more subtle aromas of bay, and earthiness of black pepper. Rich rosemary notes strike the palate first, shrouded in a fog of gorgeous, sweet bay perfume, while the cracked black pepper stomps it’s personality onto the finish of this complex, silky smooth potato vodka.

Perfect Serve - This beautifully versatile spirit is best enjoyed served over ice with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a splash of tonic – or as the base of a cocktail to upgrade the classics, such as the iconic Dirty Martini, Bloody Mary or summer spritz.

Food Pairing - Don’t just stop there though, since this herbal delight is surprisingly versatile and is a perfect accompaniment to a plethora of cuisines too.

It pairs beautifully with roast lamb, Mediterranean vegetables and fruits from the English countryside hedgerows and orchards – such as raspberries, blackberries, and apples.
